Abstract

Urban agriculture has emerged as a pivotal component of sustainable city planning, offering
a range of economic, environmental, and social benefits. This paper assesses the economic
viability of urban agriculture within the context of city planning, examining its potential to
enhance food security, create jobs, and stimulate local economies. By analyzing case studies
and empirical data, this study highlights the factors influencing the economic success of
urban agriculture initiatives and provides recommendations for integrating these practices
into urban planning frameworks.
