Abstract

The global transition to renewable energy is essential to combat climate change, but its
adoption in developing countries faces significant challenges. This paper explores the
barriers to renewable energy adoption in developing countries, including financial
constraints, inadequate infrastructure, and political instability. It also identifies the
opportunities for overcoming these challenges, such as international funding, technological
advancements, and policy reforms. By addressing these barriers and leveraging opportunities,
developing countries can accelerate their renewable energy adoption and contribute to global
sustainability efforts.
